From Ashes, I Rise: Rebuilding After the Lahaina Fires
In August 2023, I lost everything in the Lahaina wildfires.
My home, my boutique, and the heart of my sustainable swimwear brand were all reduced to ash. I wasn’t just grieving the loss of a business. I was grieving a life I had poured my soul into.
What followed was the deepest season of grief I’ve ever known. I didn’t rush to rebuild. I allowed myself to slow down, to feel it all. I gave myself permission to sit in the pain without trying to escape it. I disconnected from social media, stepped away from selling, and went inward.
I had to meet myself in the fire before I could rise from it.
And I did.
What emerged was
The Phoenix Collection - a swimwear line born from loss, transformation, and faith. Every piece is infused with the spirit of rising. It’s soft and strong. Earthy and radiant. It tells a story of destruction and renewal.
As a woman, a designer, and a survivor of the Lahaina fires, this collection is my offering to the world. It’s not just fashion, it’s a reflection of resilience, rebirth, and sacred beauty rising from the ashes.
I created The Phoenix Collection for those who’ve walked through grief, faced the fire, and still choose to rise with grace.
